In the third of our Masterclass series we are delighted to welcome our IDP Mentor, Sarah Fox.

Sarah is a construction lawyer who is an expert in writing contracts in just 500 words. Having spent years training the sector on complex contracts, she realised they were simply shoved in a drawer and nobody cared. So she's leading a one-woman revolution for contracts that you can read, understand and use, whatevere your line of business. She's also the author of a series of books on how to write construction contracts in just 500 words.

In this Masterclass, Sarah will share why you should bother with contracts before discussing how you can use your contract to:

reflect your values as a business
manage expectations on time, cost and quality
proactively deal with risk issues
create simple processes to deal with changes, remedies and cancellation

In the second of our Masterclass series we are delighted to welcome our IDP Mentor, Michaela Wain.

Michaela is the Managing Director of Design and Build UK, Framework Marketing, Vantage Utility Connections and Property Ninjas. Michaela was a finalist on BBC The Apprentice and later secured the investment after her exposure on the show.

Michaela wants to see a change in the construction industry, to see more money spent in the North, having inclusive environments for all to thrive in and allow SME's and Micro-Businesses to win more contracts.

Reserve your place to attend our free online workshop for SMEs and micro-business owners working in the construction industry supply chain.

The Innovation Workshop is a facilitated forum to come up with ideas that could make a massive difference to your productivity and profitability. The workshop is also an introduction to The IDP Community, which aims to encourage the sector to collaborate to share challenges and come up with solutions to improve productivity, expand procurement opportunities and increase profit margins.

From the Innovation Workshops, the project will take forward 40 challenges, each to be headed up by a business Innovation Champion - who will receive 12-hrs free coaching and mentoring to create a solution for their own business.

As an attendee of the Innovation Workshop, you will gain free access to four Innovation Driven Procurement CPD accredited modules.

Whilst the building industry in the UK continues to improve productivity through innovation, very rarely do we involve the front-line specialist and tradesman in considering and providing improvement.

During this conference we will explore what tools are available to encourage and support specialist contractors and operatives to develop and share their ideas.

A 3-hour Conference to provide a deep-dive into supplier resilience and capacity issues in the supply chain.
